تمكنت شرطة منطقة الرياض من الإيقاع بعصابة مكونة من أربعة أشخاص في العقد الثاني من العمر تقوم بسرقة المواشي.

وكانت شرطة محافظة الخرج قد بلاغين من مواطنين عن سرقة ما يزيد عن أربعين رأساً من الأغنام في حادثتين منفصلتين ، تحريات شرطة محافظة الخرج استطاعت الربط ما بين الحادثتين ونشرت مصادرها مما ساهم في تحديد الاشتباه في أربعة وافدين آسيويين ، فتم القبض عليهم وبالتأكد من وضعهم عثر معهم على عدد من تلك الأغنام المسروقة. التحقيقات المبدئية قادت إلى اعتراف الجناة بفعلتهم. ولا تزال التحقيقات جارية معهم بتوسع لمعرفة المزيد من الجرائم ولمعرفة ما إذا كانت لهم علاقة بالجرائم الأخرى المشابهة لأسلوبهم الإجرامي. وستتم إحالتهم إلى القضاء بعد انتهاء إجراءات التحقيق لتقرير العقوبة المناسبة لهم شرعاً.
